Bob moved to approve the minutes. Radek seconded the motion. There were no objections. ------------- DDR clock forwarding BIRD draft: Arpad reported Fangyi has added a diagram to the BIRD draft. Topic bin list discussion: Arpad asked if there were any suggestions to clean up the bin list. Michael suggested to send out a reminder in the week to bring up these topics. Randy suggested to send Mike a reminder about BIRD181.2. Bob is also an author on this BIRD, but we need discussion on similar changes to section 9. Randy asked if this would be a separate BIRD. Bob replied we could have a separate BIRD tied to BIRD181.2 or change BIRD181.2, but if we make the change, we should be consistent throughout the IBIS specification. Arpad noted Fangyi's clock forwarding BIRD is the same topic as item #12 in the bin list. He suggested to delete this duplicate topic. Michael commented the component level issue has not yet been addressed. Arpad stated we did have discussion on this, but he wasn't sure if we had settled on this issue. Michael agreed it would be okay to delete the clock forwarding item. Arpad moved to remove the clock forwarding topics from item #12. Michael seconded. There were no objections. Randy noted we had seemed to come to the conclusion that EDA tools would come up with their own solutions to handle the rise and fall time asymmetry. Arpad suggested to keep the item, as it could use some further discussion. - Michael: Motion to adjourn. - Bob: Second. - Arpad: Thank you all for joining. ------------- Next meeting: 17 March 2020 12:00pm PT ------------- IBIS Interconnect SPICE Wish List: 1) Simulator directives
